Get ready for your appointment

Preparing for a tattoo can help ensure a smooth experience and optimal healing. Here are some key tips:

  • Stay Hydrated:
Drink plenty of water in the days leading up to your appointment. Hydration helps keep your skin supple.
  • Get Plenty of Rest:
Aim for a good night’s sleep before your appointment to ensure you’re alert and calm.
  • Eat a Balanced Meal:
Have a nutritious meal before your session. This can help maintain your energy levels and prevent dizziness.
  • Avoid Alcohol and Drugs:
Stay away from alcohol and recreational drugs 24 hours prior to your appointment, as they can thin your blood and increase bleeding.
  • Dress Comfortably:
Wear loose-fitting clothes that allow easy access to the area being tattooed.
  • Moisturize Your Skin:
Exfoliate the area to be tattooed a day or two prior to your appointment, and keep the skin moisturized. Avoid sunburns, as damaged skin can affect the quality of the tattoo.
  • Shave the area where you’ll be getting tattooed:
Please shave the placement area the night before your appointment. This helps streamline the process, allows for smoother application, and reduces skin irritation—ultimately making the experience more comfortable and less painful for you.

On the day of the appointment please bring your ID. If you are a minor, you must bring an ID, be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and bring your birth certificate.
